Singing

S.R can perform multiple different vocal styles and techniques. Her style of voice best aligns with a musical theatre sound, which includes a brighter tone, lots of diction, and controlled vibrato. However, she can perform many others styles as well.
S.R has been in multiple productions like Sweeney Todd and Les Miserables that require her to sing in an operatic and legit vocal style. In this style, she comfortably can perform as a Soprano 2, but can also be placed as a Soprano 1 with minimal limitations. Her vibrato is quite heavy with a legit vocal style and she can sing with a dark or light tone if need be.

Other than operatic singing, S.R is training her mixing and belting. Taking inspiration from many musical theatre ballads, S.R is working on adding some chest voice to her head voice to create mixing. S.R is very confident in using her head voice and falsetto with little to no issue, so it has been fun learning to mix. In addition to that, adding her chest voice is something S.R loves to do as she can lean into her mezzo soprano range and sing lower.

Outside of theatre, S.R has started writing music of her own! She's spent the last year creating and writing with the hopes to publish her own music soon.
